Import Issue
Version: Excel 2003
Setup a .xls file (Book3) to import data from another .xls file (Book1) Book 3 worked fine importing data from Book1 until management requested another column be added to Book1 and subsequently Book3. Added requested column via tools/import external data/edit query. Verified data is present in newly added column in Book1. Book3 does not import the data from Book1 (although it successfully imports the data from the columns that were previously setup prior to managments request) Do I need to change my query, tables, data ranges? If so how? Am not a wizard with Excel any assistance would be appreciated |
