Default Search and retrieve


how can i search a seperate workbook for a certain value, and copy rows
related to that value,
hear is the situation

JOB client description
06-001 awg designs house design

i want to search for that job number

and return the client and description back to the other workbook

sorry if it seams confusing.

can the Vlookup be used to seach a seperate workbook on a diffrent disk
drive?

i'm not sure how i would formate the "table_array" to do that

Start the Function Wizard (InsertFunction) and click/select the table by tabbing to it
