Using Excel 2000;
When I add a cell comment, it always stays on top until I click on the cell and select 'hide comment'. I want comments to be hidden by default, and not have to hide each one when I make it. I've looked but don't see where to change this default setting. Help! |

There is an option in Tools - Options - view tab, where you can select the
default behaviour of comments. Selecting "none" there should do the trick.
