I have an excel worksheet that contains data that will update on a daily
basis. So I insert copied data at the top of the sheet some everything is in date order. Then at the end of the data I do many calculations with count, if, and sum statements. Everything calculates correctly except when I insert new data the starting point of the formula doesn't update but the ending formula does. I have auto calculate on and even when I manually try to update the beginning point still won't update. If I go edit everyone of my calculations it works fine. Does anyone have suggestions on how I get around manually updating the formulas everyday? Thanks. |

![]() Insert an empty row above your existing data. Change your formulae so that they include this row then hide the row. Then when you insert more data it will be inserted between the existing data and the hidden row. -- millsy ------------------------------------------------------------------------ millsy's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...fo&userid=5122 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=535037 |
