Dear all

I have a column containing people's names and in another column I need to
re-enter their name but only with the first letter of their forename and the
whole of their surname.

For example, in A1 I have Karen Jones. In cell B1, I need to enter kjones
(in lower case preferably).

Is there a formla I can use to do this, or do I have to type them
individually?
