using data from 2 cells
Dear all
I have a column containing people's names and in another column I need to re-enter their name but only with the first letter of their forename and the whole of their surname. For example, in A1 I have Karen Jones. In cell B1, I need to enter kjones (in lower case preferably). Is there a formla I can use to do this, or do I have to type them individually? =LOWER(LEFT(A1,1)&LOWER(MID(A1,FIND(" ",A1,1)+1,255)))
should work for one surname, but for example George Walker Bush will appear as: gwalker bush. Do you want this as gwalkerbush? Hans "Louise" skrev i en meddelelse ...
