I would like to refer to a particular cell within IF functions. I am trying
to reference data to a RMA sheet. I have RMA #s that I am listing. Along with the RMA #, I list a couple drop downs (company error, factory error, customer error, other). Based on the drop down, I'd like to return an X in the specified box on my RMA sheet. My problem is once I set up the IF statement, it applies to the whole data sheet. I would like to have the IF statement be associated with the a particular RMA #. By doing so, selecting a different RMA number would incorporate a different IF result. Could I nest an IF statement in a VLOOKUP for example? Does this help? Thanks, Scott |
