Latest Office patch de-registered EXCEL 2002 .Word/PP fine. Ideas
I just updated latest security patches for XP and OFFICE during the week. Now
EXCEL is not registered at all though WORD and PP function fine. I only have an OEM installation and PC insists I need the install CD.... What happened? What to do. How to revert to previous state? |

Even a pre-installed edition should have disks or a local installation
folder as any update will need this. The updated update to correct the issues of last week can be found here http://support.microsoft.com/kb/918165 -- HTH Nick Hodge Microsoft MVP - Excel Southampton, England www.nickhodge.co.uk HIS "BBTim" wrote in message ... Word and PP and Outlook didn't request it. I read the KB article anyway, but it doesn't seem to pertain to the specific problem we experienced. -- David |
