you people come up with. (I'm also amazed at the power of Excel.)

I wish I knew Excel as well as you all do.

If you want to learn this is the best place for it.

Spend a couple of hours a day here reading the posts and studying the
solutions. Then, after a while, try your hand at solving the problems and
compare what you've done to what the real "experts" do. When you feel
comfortable then you could even answer posts yourself.

90% of what I've learned, I learned right here.

What's really surprising is that once you fully understand the basic
concepts most of this stuff becomes very simple!

You need just two things to reach this stage:

1) Make friends with the Excel help system.
2) Read books about Excel. Lots of books. Take them to bed with you.
