Default I cannot get into a protected excel spreadsheet

spreadsheet was password protected with the save as/tools/general options
password protection and the password has been lost. Is there any was to open
the spreadsheet and make it useful again?

Default I cannot get into a protected excel spreadsheet

You would need to do a search for a commercial password cracking software,
there are plenty that says they'll will do this
