Recently I followed the instructions at
http://www.fontstuff.com/vba/vbatut07.htm to add the pop-up calendar to Excel. Since then when Excel opens, "Personal.xls" opens, and I thought that this would be "invisible", and that it would be a blank "Book 1" that would open when launching Excel. Is there any way of changing this so that Personal.xls works unvisibly in the background? Connie |

Yes, I know you can hide the window, but I thought this was to be automatic
when I launch Excel. I did not expect to have to hide it every time I open Excel. And then close excel.
You'll see a prompt asking if you want to save personal.xls (as a hidden workbook). Answer yes.
