Excel 2000 hangs on new database query XP
Excel 2000 XP Pro. In a new spreadsheet, the get external data / new database query just hangs indefinitely. It works on another machine with XP Home, but I can't imagine Home and Pro would be the cause. To confuse matters further, a spreadsheet with an existing link to a database copied from another machine works fine on this machine. I don't know where to start on this one.
