Clearing data past its sell by date!
Hi Im trying to get rid of data in a simple database that is past its expiry date without losing all the existing data. Specifically i want to be able to remove rows which are older than today. Any ideas? -- simoncottle ------------------------------------------------------------------------ simoncottle's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=33122 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=529402 |

Presumably you have a date column. You could apply a filter to this -
Custom, Less than then enter today's date. This will display the old records. Highlight the visible rows and Edit | Delete Rows, then choose All from the filter pull-down. Hope this helps. Pete |
