I'm having trouble setting up a formula in one sheet to get totals from
another sheet in the same workbook. When I set the formula, the formula itself is displayed and not the value I need from the cell(s) in the other sheet. I also get a formula error arrow in the cell. Any ideas? |

If the cell's format is text (format|cells|number tab), then change it to
something else (General???) and then select the cell, hit F2 and then enter (to tell excel that you're reentering the formula). If that doesn't work, make sure that you're not looking at formulas: Tools|Options|View tab|Uncheck Formulas Hammy wrote: I'm having trouble setting up a formula in one sheet to get totals from another sheet in the same workbook.
