Default Why can't I copy anything in my Excel documents?

Every time I use CTRL+C or right click or use the menu to copy, the dotted
line that normally appears around the copied cells almost immediately
disappears, and the clipboard says "Preview not available."
I tried closing Excel and reopening it, it is doing this in every document.
Help!
