I understand there is a 255 character limit to content of an excel cell that
will merge into a word document. Is there a solution around this limitation? |

You want to turn on Wrap in the cell, use of Alt+Enter
for a new line will automatically turn on Wrapped lines Format, cells, alignment, Wrap Specification Limits (in HELP) Column width: 255 Length of contents 32,767 characters. Only 1,024 display in a cell; all 32,767 display in the formula bar. If you hit Alt+Enter occassionally, you can exceed the 1024 limit of display in a cell. so this is one specification limit that doesn't really seem to be a specification limit. Jim Rech has a macro to fix row height for wrapped lines http://groups.google.com/groups?thre...GP12.phx. gbl Please use your first and last name in newsgroups, particularly technical newsgroups. --- HTH, David McRitchie, Microsoft MVP - Excel [site changed Nov. 2001] My Excel Pages: http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/excel.htm Search Page: http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/search.htm "Salt Lake City" <Salt Lake wrote in message ...
