Default Freeze Sections and column in a worksheet

I have a worksheet where i would like to freeze a section e.g B1: M7 so
wherever i scroll in the worksheet this remains visible.

In addition to this i would like to freeze column A as per normal freeze of
a split window

Position the cursor in cell B2 and click Window | Freeze Pane. This
will give you what you want - the top row and column A will always be
visible as you move around the sheet.

Hope this helps.

Thanks but does not solve the problem freezing column A is fine but does not
solve the issue of freezing B1: M7 as well i think it is quite hard to
decribe what i need.

Thanks

Simon

Sorry, I mis-read your post - I thought you wanted B1:M1.

Go to Window | Unfreeze Panes, then position cursor in B8 and Window |
Freeze Panes. This will now show the top 7 rows as you scroll around.

Hope this helps.

Pete
