Default Excel becomes sluggish after print preview

After I open a certain excel document, then print preview, it becomes very
sluggish and slow. I cannot figure this out. Right after I print preview, it
becomes slow. This only happens when my default printer is an HP4300. My
default printer is a HP5si now, and when I change printers, open an excel
document, print preview and its slow. It only happens with a HP4300. I cant
mess with the driver because of financial statements. Could anyone please
help and let me know ASAP.
