Default Can you merge non-shared workbooks?

I have two versions of a workbook that I'd like to merge. But it's not a
shared workbook situation; they're simply two separate files. Comparing side
by side would be too tedious because of their size. So, I'd like to merge
them, as you can do with Word docs.

Anyone know if this is possible and how?

Thanks.
