In Excel 2003, why does the format cells option not work?
We have an "Inspection master" form that has been cut/pasted, cell formatted
and re-formatted many times. Now when selecting cells and cell groups the format cells function does not work. |

Hi Ernie H. Each spreadsheet can have only so many formats, around 4,000 I
think. You might try making a copy of your spreadsheet, selecting the entire sheet and eliminating all formats except the font to see if you can then start formatting again.
