We have two new computers with the latest Excel version installed. Both
users have found that when they want to drag a formula to affect the subsequent rows, it is only adding the formula of the first row to all of the subsequent rows instead of changing the row/column number in the formula to affect each row (i.e. sum1b*1c - stays the same down through all of the rows instead of changing the next row to 2b*2c, 3b*3c,etc. Also when summing a column with formulas, the sum cell formula looks correct, but it did not add the numbers correctly. If I block the cells and look at the sum of the cell on the tool bar at the bottom of the screen, that sum is correct. We've never had any problems with these basic functions before. Does it have to do with bugs in the new Excel? |

Has this problem been corrected for you yet? I am also having problems with
this recently which caused me to look thru the chat room to see if there were similar problems and yours is exactly the problem that I have. Have you found a solution?
