First if you have anything in the column to the right that you want to keep -
insert a new column. Then highlight only the data that you want to change and click on the tool bar "Data" and use "text to columns" mark the "fixed width" box - next button. on the data Preview screen left click and more the line to the spot you want and click on next - then finish. That's it! - delete the column that has the excess digits and you are done. Don't you just love Excel??? "RobertM" wrote: I just want to shave off the last two digits.
