Default Display shading and font colors in edit mode

When editing an Excel spreadsheet, I cannot see shading or font colors. If I
look at it in print preview, I can see them, but not in the edit mode. Please
help!

If this is a problem with all Excel files with coloured cells, the Windows OS
high contrast setting may be turned on. There is information in the
following MSKB article:
