Default forcing value into remote cell


i want to create cell A3 with a calculation that forces a defualt value
into cell B3 if cell B3 is blank, but then that value can be overwitten
by the user without affecting cell A3...possible?

Default forcing value into remote cell

Enter =A3 in cell B3.

B3 will pick up whatever A3 has in it. The user can over-ride B3 with any
entry and not affect A3.
