Default Pivot table with protect workbook

Dear All,

In a file, I wanna have the track changes on one worksheet but also using
pivot table on the other. However, while the track changes on (& workbook
shared!), I cant use the filter buttons in the pivot table...

So do you have any ideas to overcome this?? or both can be used at same
place??

Thx lots!

You can't change or create a pivot table in a shared workbook.

For more information on shared workbooks, look in Excel's Help, under
the topic 'Features that are unavailable in shared workbooks'
