prevent additional rows
I am using an Excel sheet to gather data from various users to import
into Access. Last year everything went well except a couple of users either deleted or added rows, which screwed things. Is there a way to prevent rows or columns from being added or deleted and still allow data entry? TIA Bob |

prevent additional rows
highlight the cells you want data imput to be allowed in, and unprotect the
cell (s) or even select the whole page and unprotect all the cells then go back into protection and protect the sheet making sure that the insert \ delete rows options is not ticked Rich "accesspro" wrote: I am using an Excel sheet to gather data from various users to import into Access. Thanks Rich.
Turns out in E2K i don't have the insert delete rows option. But have to "unlock" each cell then protect, thanks. bob |
