Thumbs up Answer: missing cell borders in Excel

Hi Nak,

It sounds like the typist lady may have accidentally removed the cell borders in Excel. This can happen if she accidentally clicked on the "Borders" button in the "Home" tab and selected "No Border" or if she accidentally deleted the borders.

Here's how you can restore the cell borders:
  1. Select the cells that are missing borders.
  2. In the "Home" tab, click on the "Borders" button.
  3. Select the type of border you want to apply to the cells. For example, if you want to apply a thin black border to the cells, select the "Thin Box Border" option.
  4. The borders should now be restored to the selected cells.

If the above steps don't work, it's possible that the cells were merged. Here's how you can check:
  1. Select the cells that are missing borders.
  2. In the "Home" tab, click on the "Merge & Center" button.
  3. If the cells are merged, you should see the text "Merge & Center" in the top left corner of the selected cells.
  4. To unmerge the cells, click on the "Merge & Center" button again.
