![]() I am using excel 2000 I have a spreadsheet with 21 columns and 200 rows of data in row 201 are totals for columns 14 to 19 Column A contains names of Area Managers of which there are 10 If I filter on column A the totals in row 201 are hidden, is it possible to filter and either still have the totals showing or for the totals to reflect just the data showing as a result of the filter I've tried adding subtotals, but again when I filter the totals disappear Any help greatly appreciated -- Paul Sheppard ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Paul Sheppard's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=24783 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=518328 |

I use a "Freeze line" say at row 8, and put my formula ABOVE that line, to
total a column, and use the SUBTOTAL function as it ignores hidden rows. hth Vaya con Dios, Chuck, CABGx3 "Paul Sheppard" wrote: I am using excel 2000 I have a spreadsheet with 21 columns and 200 rows of data in row 201 are totals for columns 14 to 19 Column A contains names of Area Managers of which there are 10 If I filter on column A the totals in row 201 are hidden, is it possible to filter and either still have the totals showing or for the totals to reflect just the data showing as a result of the filter I've tried adding subtotals, but again when I filter the totals disappear Any help greatly appreciated -- Paul Sheppard ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Paul Sheppard's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=24783 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=518328 |

Are you wanting to see all of the data in the rows that relates to the Area
Managers or just the totals? Could you perhaps use a Pivot Table to filter out the data you want?
