Default Pivot table data source

With an existing pivot table, how can I determine what the source of the
data it? The pivot table wizard Layout will show me all of the fields
that are available, but I can't figure out how it decides the list of
fields or where that data comes from.

I guess this is a dumb question, but I have searched and searched and
can't figure it out.

Thanks for any information.

If you're using Excel 2003, right click anywhere on the pivot table and
select the pivot table wizard. Click the <back button, and it should show
you the full path of the source data.
