Default Can't open excell workbook

I emailed a workbook to my home and downloaded it to desktop. The file went
through Norton and Macafee scans and not virus threat was detected. Excel
won't let me own it as it says"virus scan detected a problem". What virus
scan. I even manually scanned the file and nothing was detected.
Help, doe anyone have anything to share with me on this?

Default Can't open excell workbook

Are you trying to open from Explorer, or have you tried opening Excel and
opening directly from there using File/Open?

Default Can't open excell workbook

I downloaded the file to my desktop. It has an Excel icon. I double click on
the icon and it starts to open but I get the message unable to open virus
scan detected a problem.

Default Can't open excell workbook

I clicked on the excel icon for the file and everything starts. Then I get
the message that virus scan detected a problem and won't let it open up. I
then go to file and click on open and the same thing comes up about the virus
scan.
