csrss.exe issue
Hi ,
I wonder if anyone of you has encountered such issue ? i have a user who opens an excel file that was previously linked to other file but she chooses not to update the lionk and the file will take quite a long time to open. From Task Manager i could see the csrss.exe is occupying at least 50% of the CPU time. any idea how to fix this ? i have tried it myself but it's ok for me tks & rdgs |
csrss.exe issue
Hi,
- Start computer in safemode - Search for the files "csrss.*" - Delete them - Restart computer normally I think this could solve your problem. This file is part of Windows (its description is "Client Server Runtime
Process"). Do you really think deleting it is a good answer? -- Jim "NAVEEN" wrote in message ... | Hi, | | - Start computer in safemode | - Search for the files "csrss.*" | - Delete them | - Restart computer normally | | I think this could solve your problem. | | Regards, | NAVEEN | | "maxzsim" wrote: | | Hi , | | I wonder if anyone of you has encountered such issue ? | | i have a user who opens an excel file that was previously linked to other | file but she chooses not to update the lionk and the file will take quite a | long time to open.
