Default Excel Right Hand Task Pane Shortcuts.....

Can any one explain to me how I delete the unwanted shortcuts that appear in
the right hand task pane.....

I thought I might be able to do this as in Word....as explained to me in a
word posting....
CTRL / ALT/ Hyphen.....the cursor changes to a minus sigh and I can then
delete the shortcut I click on the unwanted link.....

This does not appear to work in excel......I am using Excel 2002 and 2003.

Thanks
