i have made 3 worksheets with some common data headers. what i want is that
while i enter data in sheet 1 in field HOUSE NO for eg i put 673, i want this 673 to be pasted automatically in sheet 2 in the field HOUSE NO. as Sheet 1 and sheet 2 both have HOUSE NO options in their respective sheet. so can this be done please help for 2 or more that 2 sheets. easy.If the cells are on the same position on each of your sheet 2 and three
then click on the tab for sheet 2 and hold ctrl down and click on the tab for sht three.In the cell(s) you want HOUSE NO to display type =and wth your mouse click n the tab for sheet 1 and then on the cell for house no and hit enter.If the cells arent in the same position on 2 and 3 you will have to do this for sheet two,then copy the formula FROM the FORMULA bar hit escape go to the cell on sheet three and paste into the formula bar you should see a formula similar to =sheet!1D23 where d23 is the cell for HOUSE NO on sheet one -- paul remove nospam for email addy!
