![]() Where exactly are you trying to use the formula??.... in conditional formatting? or directly into a cell? If in conditional formatting then you should know that conditional formatting can NOT change the contents of a cell only the format. I'm not an expert but as Bob said not too many things are imposible in excel so all you need to do is give a little more details as to what your trying to do.
