Default Sharing a toolbar

Hi

I have created a toolbar with macros which would be useful to my colleagues.
I have tried to find out where the toolbar was saved in an attempt to mail it
but could not locate it.

So I have 2 questions:
How can I send this personalised toolbar to other people? (i.e. where do i
find it?, will it work for them if they save it in the same location on their
computer?...)
And also I would like to send it so that it is part of their default
toolbars, i.e. comes up when starting up Excel, how can I do this?

Many thanks,
Nathalie

Default Sharing a toolbar

All menu and toolbar customizations are saved in a file with the extension
"XLB". The exact name depends on the Excel version you have. Usually the
XLB file is found he

C:\Documents and Settings\<user name\Application Data\Microsoft\Excel

Now this one file has ALL your menu and toolbar settings, not just your
custom toolbar. So if someone replaces his XLB with yours, he will get ALL
your settings and lose ALL of his.

Another thing to keep in mind is that there is no strong connection between
your toolbar and your macros. For another user to have your toolbar work
for him, he'll also need your macro workbook, and he will have to put it in
exactly the same path as you have it on your machine. In other words, if
your macro workbook is in c:\mymacros\Macros.xls, he'll have to create the
same path.
