Default Sum

How can i sum the number of cells in a column that have text. B4 -B32 have
text in them. I wanted to have teh number cells summed up so in B33. so if B4
= John and B5 = Suzy...so B33 would say 2....any ideas??

Use the COUNTA function, For Example:

=counta(B4:B32)
