Default Restore won't work any more

I can no longer re-size Excel. When I click the restore icon, the workbook
just minimizes. I then have to right click the file on the task bar and
click Maximize to bring the file back.

Any help much appreciated.

Maybe it's not being minimized--maybe it's resized and it's just not visible on
the screen.

You could rightclick on that excel icon on the windows taskbar and choose Move
(when that window is not visible).

Or you could rightclick on an empty spot on the windows taskbar and choose
cascade windows (and resize later).
