Default Navigation tip when moving scrollbar ?

Hi,

There's are instances when you're moving using the horizontal / vertical
scrollbar - it appears tooltips denoting the column # / row # your scrolling?
How can I turn that off / on ? Can't find any info on it in the help file.
Thanks

Newer versions of excel did away with that tooltip--since the screen updates
when you scroll right or left. In those versions, you can't turn it on or off.

I don't have an early version to play with to try it.

Maybe someone will chime in with a definite response.
