How do I merge two cells in a column
I am trying to merge cell A1 and cell A2 into one cell. I select both cells
by selecting one and then hitting shift while I select the other but the Merge & Center button remains greyed out. HELP |

How do I merge two cells in a column
Try selecting A1 and A2 at the same time.
Click on A1 and paint over A2. If you have trouble with this, you can use the keyboard. Edit|goto type: A1:A2 into the reference box at the bottom.
