Default stoping excel from automatic zoomig

I have a Latitude D300.

The Problem:

When I try to open the Excel or any files that i have saved, first
thing you see when you open it is the screen zooming at 400 percent by
itself. I updated the video drive, the bios, and then i restarted still
the same thing. Does anyone got an answer about this issue. I can't
seem to find a solution.
Also when the excel sheet is open you can adjust the screen zoom to
100% then when you press enter to selected it goes back to 400% and all
other functions in the toolbar cant seem to function. Say if you click
in the File or Tools or Edit or Help none of these menus seems to open
or they open and close to fast for me to see anything or maybe to
access the properties or preferences.

Please help.

If this is only happening in Excel, do some Excel troubleshooting:
