Default Column Headings

How do I get the column headings to show A,B,C,D,E,F,G etc as they have
changed and are showing numbers 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 instead. Hence a cell
reference of A1 is R1C1 (Row 1 Column1)

Click TOOLS in the menu, selection OPTIONS and then click on the GENERAL tab.
Turn off the R1C1 notation by clicking the R1C1 reference style check box
