![]() Hi, I want a certain image to be connected to a certain cell. The problem I'm facing now is that I insert a certain small image in column B which is related to the cell in the same row in column A. When I sort column A alphabetically that works but all the images remain in at their original position instead of staying connected to the cell left of them. On the forum I found this solution:http://www.mcgimpsey.com/excel/lookuppics.html But I'm not into scripting and macro's so I don't get it to work. Another but to me much worse solution, because I can't see the images immediately. http://www.contextures.com/xlcomments02.html#Picture Is there another way? Not sure if I understand your problem.
A1 contains data, B1 contains an image A2 contains data, B2 contains an image You want to sort the whole lot by column A Select the entire lines 1 and 2 by clicking on the line headers and then sort. That will keep the data in A1 and B1 together. Alternatively select A1 to B2 and then sort by column A. Is that what you meant? Hans |
