Default Styles in Excel 2003 - where is the ability to assign key-combinations?

Hi all,

Excel seems to be missing the ability to assign key-combos to styles.
This is a grotesque ommission for which I can't think of any good
reason.

Is there one?

Its bizarre. This is Excel 2003 we are talking about, not excel 95, for
goodness sake. Good money has been paid for it and yet it is missing
such a basic feature.

A further complaint is that the macro facility only allows ctrl key
combinations, which is awfully restrictive, and again seems thoroughly
unnecessary.
