Default VBA code is being deletd from WorkBook

I have the following probelm.
I have a workbook with a number of modules(vba code).
I save it to 2 different partitions (just in case).
It happens regularly that I get an error message that option is not
available and then the sheet opens, formatting has dissapeard and all
the modules are gone.
I do not get a virus message or anything else when saving, and my
protection is set low so I don't get the prompt if I want the macro's
to run.
It happens more often on one of the HDD partitions than the other.

Any Ideas? Suggestions? Coukd it be a Bad Disk (spank it!) or something
known?

Thanks, Hans (hhalle)

It sounds to me like the workbook is corrupted.

Lots of people have praised OpenOffice.org for saving their data and code.

http://www.openoffice.org, a 60-65 meg download or a CD

There are commercial recovery services. I've never used it, but you might want
to check into:
http://www.officerecovery.com

And sometimes newer versions of excel can open files that older versions can't.
(And sometimes just different versions may work, too!)
