Default Formula not updating


I have a spread sheet with a basic formula

=sum(b3:b16) to total cash amounts

if I make a mistake and need to take a figure out of the coloum the
total dosent up date.

Any answers why or how i can get this to change???

Maybe you've got excel in manual calculation mode:

Tools|options|Calculation tab
