Hi,
If I have lets say 3000 rows and 4 columns and If I want to use Auto-filter on one column then the list of unique entries which Auto-filter window offers is not complete. I see that this behaviour happens when number of rows is "large". Has anybody else experienced this problem? (I know that one can use advanced filter by using criteria list, but sometimes auto-fiter is "quicker" for some mundane tasks. Also, I understand that in excel keeping so many rows is not good, but would like to ignore it for the moment.) Regards, Hari India |

Norman and Ron,
Thanks a lot for link to Debra's site. I had been there some months back but must have missed this crucial point regarding limit. Ron - Thanks for Easy filter. It would be very helpful to me. regards, Hari India |
