Default Column designations (A, B, C,..) are now numbers-how do I change

For my column headings that are normally A, B, C, etc. somehow they have
changed to 1, 2, 3, etc. They are now the same as my row designations.
How do I change them back?
Thanks

In the tools menu, select Options. In the Options dialogue box, click on
the General tab at the top. Uncheck the box next to R1C1 reference
style.

Click okay, and you should be good to go.
