Default Repaire my Excel file

Ps. Sometimes people open an excel file in MSWord and then save it as a
Word
document (with a .xls extension). This can break the file, too.

You could try opening the file (or a copy of the file) in MSWord. If it
opens
there, you could copy and paste back to xl.

But lots of things will be lost.

Good luck,

Ps. Do you have a backup?
