Default Grouping

I will be completing an exam on Excel. I learned how to group, but I could
not find the benefits of grouping anywhere. What are the general benefits?

I would suggest that the benefits of grouping a

Ability to present data in a summarised fashion whilst giving the operator
the
possibility to expand any of the sumarised sections.

Allows for detailed information to be better organised.

Provides an immediately visible to the structure of the data.
