I would like to hide and keep hidden columns on a worksheet. The columns I
would like to keep hidden are between other columns that may need to be
expanded to fit the content.

click on the column heading you want to expand first to select the whole
columm, then make it bigger, that way it will not "un-hide" the hidden one
next to it.
